1. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MemeDome responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not post, upload, or reshare content that is:

• Illegal or violates any applicable law
• Infringing on intellectual property, copyright, or trademark rights
• Defamatory, libelous, or false
• Harassing, bullying, threatening, or abusive
• Hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence
• Obscene, sexually explicit, or child exploitation material
• Spam, malware, or compromises security

2. User Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create and upload to MemeDome. By posting or resharing content, you grant MemeDome a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, promote, and feature your content for purposes related to operating, improving, and promoting the platform. This may include displaying content alongside advertisements.

MemeDome does not claim ownership of user-generated content and does not sell it to third parties.

3. Public Nature of Content

Content posted or reshared on MemeDome is public by default and may be viewed by other users and visitors. Once published, content may continue to be visible through sharing, caching, or indexing by third parties. Deleting content removes it from public display, but copies may persist temporarily in backups or archives.

4. Copyright & Fair Use

MemeDome respects intellectual property rights. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. Content may be removed in response to valid copyright takedown notices. While transformative use (such as memes and parody) may qualify as fair use, responsibility for ensuring copyright compliance remains with the user who uploads content.

5. Content Moderation & Enforcement

MemeDome may review, moderate, restrict, or remove content at its sole discretion to maintain a safe and respectful environment. We may take enforcement actions including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination for violations of these terms or our policies.

6. Resharing & Attribution

When you reshare content on MemeDome, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to reshare it. Resharing content does not imply endorsement by MemeDome. You are responsible for any claims arising from content you create or reshare.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

MemeDome is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform's availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MemeDome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or user-generated content, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MemeDome, its owners, operators, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your conduct, or violation of these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

MemeDome and its logo, design, and all original content are owned by MemeDome or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit the platform's proprietary materials without permission.

11. Account Termination

MemeDome reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, and without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

12. Third-Party Links

MemeDome may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
